Talbot Railway Station was opened in 1875 as part of the Ballarat to
Maryborough line. The station platform overlooks the site of
the Scandinavian gold lead. Today
the station houses a custom framing studio with an extensive range
of matt boards and frames, and a plant nursery specializing in
succulents. Open
