Situated in the picturesque historic
fire station, built in 1860, this unique building now houses the
Central Goldfields Art Gallery. The Victorian era fire station is an
exceptional landmark of Maryborough. The Gallery showcases local and
contemporary artists from the Goldfields region, covering a range of
styles.
A Community Art & Craft exhibition
is held annually, featuring work from talented Shire residents.
The Gallery
Collection, which includes artwork by local artists, also features two
oil paintings by Pro Hart, exhibited annually.
