Spring Fling 2017

Visitor Centre - Monday, September 25, 2017

For the whole of October, the Central Goldfields will be buzzing with theatre, history, children's activities, art, exhibitions, tours and markets. Maryborough and the surrounding towns of Dunolly, Talbot, Bealiba, Majorca and Carisbrook are all hosting events of interest to residents and visitors alike.

Put together over 50 events over 31 days and we have the annual Spring Fling when the district is at its prettiest – plentiful water, green paddocks, spring blossom and bright sunshine.

Aimed at the whole family, there will is a huge range of free activities and entertainment on offer.

Spring Fling is a great opportunity for visitors to explore the central goldfields with lots to do for people of all ages and interests. It’s also a chance for local people to have fun in their own backyard and see what is happening in our own district.

New Maryborough & Surrounds Official Visitor Guide Launched

Visitor Centre - Monday, September 11, 2017

The Maryborough and Surrounds 2017/2018 Official Visitor Guide was launched today. 

It's the leading tourism publication for our region and will be distributed in Visitor Information Centres across Victoria. 

The new look guide is our key promotional tool in attracting tourism visitation to our region. 

It features local attractions, places of interest, activities, events and local businesses on offer in the region. 

It also promotes the arts, culture and heritage of our region as well as our food and wine offering and retail and accommodation options.
